about

Be a part of moving to meet her.

Right now, women, men, and families in the region between Gig Harbor and Bremerton don’t have accessible, life-affirming pregnancy support. We’re changing that by relocating our compassionate, life-affirming care to Port Orchard and the surrounding communities.

For about two years, Care Net of Puget Sound has been diligently exploring various options to relocate our Gig Harbor clinic to a more strategic and accessible location. By God’s grace we have found and purchased a new location at   381 Tremont Street W, Port Orchard, where we plan to break ground for a new pregnancy clinic in 2026. To do this, we need to raise a total of $2.1 million dollars.

Our theme verse for this campaign is Matthew 17:20b, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

In faith, we’re moving to meet her. Will you join us?

our past location

location

Since 2006, we have served women and families at our Gig Harbor location. However, consistently low client and patient numbers combined with increasing lease costs, led us to spend two years researching how to better reach women in the surrounding communities.

We identified transportation from the Port Orchard area to Gig Harbor as one of the greatest barriers to accessing our services. After considering several additional factors, including rising occupancy costs and disadvantageous lease terms, we made the decision to close the Gig Harbor center in early 2026.

We are now serving clients in the Gig Harbor area once a week through our medical mobile clinic. We also expanded capacity at our Tacoma location. This allows us to continue providing compassionate, life-affirming care while we work toward constructing a new center in Port Orchard—bringing our services closer to the women and families who need them most.

new location coming 2026

After two years of research and prayer, we have purchased a property in Port Orchard so we can move to meet her. This new property is exactly what we’ve been looking for as we strategically work to move our services to an accessible location for women in need.

We are looking to break ground at  381 Tremont Street W, Port Orchard, in 2026.
